Having written music for nearly 20 years – composing over 100 scores for theatre productions as well as numerous radio plays, television and short films – Olly Fox has become a prolific figure amongst Britain’s composers.

All kinds of commissions have yielded all kinds of styles and genres for the British composer. After completing his MA in Music Design for Film & TV at Bournemouth University, he went on to compose Cuban Son Montuno, Jazz-swing and bittersweet barroom Blues, Soul, Ska & Reggae, cinematic thriller, Romantic Classical and Baroque motion picture soundtracks and a contemporary classical song-cycle for the internationally-acclaimed counter tenor, Robin Blaze in Caligari for BBC Radio 3.

Some examples of Fox’ work for film and TV include David Coyle and Rupert Jones’ The Life & Times of Vivienne Vyle (2007) and Richard Pengelley’s No Ball Games (2012). Most notable among his works for theatre are Women Beware Women (National Theatre), Troilus & Cressida (Shakespeare’s Globe), Therese Raquin (National Theatre) and Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing (RSC).
